Hurricane Prep 2019

6/4/2019 (Permalink)

If any town fully understands the importance of preparing for a hurricane, it is definitely Houston, Texas. From tropical storms that cause large amounts of flooding, to a hurricane that comes into Galveston and knocks out power for weeks at a time. We have seen it all. After surviving hurricane Harvey, most of the people in the city were prepared, and still got hit hard. These are questions that one should always ask themselves in the event of a hurricane. If the storm arrives while you are at work or school, how will you find each other? After setting up a plan to find your family and friends, its important to know things like what will you do if water, gas, electricity or phone services are shut off? During Hurricane Ike back in 2009, the greater area of Houston lost power for weeks on end. Cells towers where temporary down. These are things that we all must think about going forward. We here at SERVPRO of Katy/Cypress know what's important. We also know when the storm is over, how to get your home or business back to greatness again. Foe any questions or concerns, please contact the staff of SERVPRO of Katy/Cypress.
