Harvey Mold

Mold mitigation is sometimes a necessary step after the moisture is gone

Harvey Mold

This hurricane (hurricane Harvey) devastated Houston, Texas. Not only did this hurricane fill our city with water but it filled us with so much water that we had to purposefully empty our reservoirs and flood more of our city through this. This made it so some of our neighborhoods were under water for weeks. By the time the water receded these houses had saturated in water for as long as 14 days. As a restoration company, we did everything we could to dry properties. Mold has grown all over the city and while it is fixable it is still something that needs to be handled properly. So how do you handle mold if you find it in your property? This is a multi-step process that is not hard but it needs to be done correctly.
